I  Started cycling in the mid 1950’s. First long ride was a round trip of 90 miles to Edwinstow. Joined Cudworth & Grimethorpe Wheelers in 1958 for cycle club rides, youth Hosteling holidays ,and some time trials.

Member of Royston Road Club and joined South Elmsall Social Cycling Club in 1978. Early retirement in late 1993 gave me more time to train and take part in time trials.

Personal best times; 10 miles 23.39, 25 miles 60.21, 50 miles 1.8.57, 100 miles 4.34.07.

I have now cycled more than 360,000  miles.
